Delano, Minn. – Industrial Louvers (ILI) is proud to announce that its President and CEO, Jo Reinhardt, has been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Association of Women Business Owners Minnesota Chapter. NAWBO describes the award as one that, “…goes to a NAWBO member who owns a …business that has experienced significant long-term growth and success for 20 years or more. The award also recognizes an Individual who has received numerous awards recognition for her many achievements growing her business. This individual’s influence and leadership has made a lasting impact. She is considered instrumental to propelling her industry forward and creating opportunities for other women.” Jo will be honored at a Gala event on October 23, 2018.
Jo Reinhardt is a courageous leader with a history of breaking barriers and pioneering change. As CEO/President of Industrial Louvers, Inc. (ILI) a WBE/WOSB certified company, and CEO/President of Verta, Inc., an architectural metal coatings company, she is one of only a handful of female CEOs in her industries.
Jo’s leadership includes active participation in industry associations including the Air Movement and Control Association, an international non-profit with a global reach. She served eight years on the board of the organization, including the role of President and Chairman in 2006-2007. She remains the first and only woman to have done so in the organization’s 100-year history.
In 2014 Jo received the Gold Eclipse Award from NWBOC for Outstanding Company Culture in the Manufacturing category. Minnesota Business presented Jo with the Bronze award for Manufacturing Executive of the Year in the same year. Her company has been included on the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s top 25 Women Owned Business List for four consecutive years.
Jo’s leadership in sustainability and social justice led to ILI to becoming the first U.S. manufacturer to be awarded the International Living Future Institute’s Just Label, a social equity certification label. Her company’s products demonstrate excellence in material transparency and environmental performance.
Jo serves on the Board of Directors for Precision Air Products Company, and is the managing partner for three business partnerships.
Jo and Keith, her husband of 43 years, live in Minnesota. They have two children and six grandchildren and one grand dog. Her interests include playing golf, tennis, running, biking and travel.
