December 2, 2014 — DELANO, Minn. — Industrial Louvers, Inc. (ILI) announces the appointment of Lisa Britton, CSI, CCPR, LEED AP BD+C, GGP, as director of sales and marketing, sustainability champion. Michael Epstein joins the company as eastern regional sales manager.

 

Throughout her 26-year career, Britton has been a leader in the advancement of standards and formats in the construction industry, most recently in the areas of sustainability and product transparency. Epstein is a nationally recognized industry expert and spokesperson on design considerations and applications for exterior architectural metal cladding.

 

Prior to joining ILI, Britton was the president and founder of Alpar Architectural Products, LLC, which was acquired inLisa Britton 2012. At Alpar, she led all aspects of the business, including strategy, management, operations, sales and marketing. Most notably, Britton assembled a team of chemists and manufacturing partners to develop the first fire-rated, biobased and petroleum-free polymer for interior finish products.  Previous positions include vice president and director of marketing and strategic planning at Arden Architectural Specialties, Inc. While at Arden she was responsible for strategic and market planning, product development, management and key account sales.

Britton is an active member of U.S. Green Building Council (USGC), Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) and Health Product Declaration (HPD) Collaborative. She received a master’s degree in international management from the University of St. Thomas and a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Minnesota.

 

Michael Epstein has 34 years of experience in the architectural metal cladding industry. He joined Copper Sales in 1980 where he was instrumental in establishing Una-Clad as a leading building envelope product line for commercial, industrial and institutional applications. After the acquisition of Copper Sales in 2005 by Firestone Building Products, Michael EpsteinEpstein was appointed national metal roofing manager. In this position he was responsible for training and managing the national direct and independent sales force as well as the customer service team. He also created the first American Institute of Architects (AIA) accredited metal roofing program for continuing education of architects, building owners and consultants.
